Online business directories are here and every business needs to know where to list them. You probably already know the importance of managing your business's online presence (and therefore lists), but there are many directories and websites to choose from.
Which online business directories do I need to list to get the best ROI?
It's great to list your business in an online directory other than a large directory (Google, Facebook, Bing), but which one makes sense to spend your time and effort adding/submitting a local business listing? Is it?
Dear friends, I rounded up the numbers to determine the top 100 online business directories in 2020 and took notes on how the list changed over the years.
Where should I list my company?
The path is to list both popular general directories and industry-specific / niche directories. Surprisingly, local niche business directories are ranked high on Alexa. That is, quite a few people use them when looking for a business. If your business listing site isn't displayed very often and your listings are expensive, it may not be worth creating a listing. If your company has a small digital marketing budget, a free online business directory is a better choice. A good strategy to get started is to make sure your company is at least in the top ten and then grow.
